HAAS Landscape Architects' waterfront portfolio
focuses on inland waterways including freshwater lakes and rivers. Our
experience lies in the development of recreational facilities, trails, and
parks, which often are the only land use allowed within these flood prone
corridors. We collaborate with hydrologists, ecologists, engineers, architects,
and archeologists, on projects within these sensitive zones. We have a strong
understanding of ADA and AASHTO requirements, and work closely with
jurisdictional state and federal agencies. Our main objective is to strike an
ecological balance with inspired design solutions. And create accessible spaces
