Centerway Square
Award winning urban plaza planned and designed to
serve as a community wide focal point and to enhance CorningÕs tourism image.
The brick-paved plaza features a canopied stage, benches, wrought iron tables
and chairs, period lighting and colorful plantings. Design emphasis on
circulation, historic fit, and public needs flexibility. A complete and
successful rehabilitation of an historic downtown space. Schematic design
through working drawings and construction observation. Maintenance
specifications also prepared for private contract. Numerous presentations and
SHPO review required. Project completed by Young Associates as prime with
Michael Haas - project manager. |
