Chenango Bridge Residence
Master plan through site design of drive, walks, walls, deck, trellis, pool, hot tub, gazebo, pond, and plantings. Detailing of stone on walls, walks, and lighted piers at drive entry echo stonework on house. Sweeping curves harmonize in scale and form with distant views. Lawn Maintenance on the 20 acre property was minimized by naturalizing large masses of daylilies, ground cover, shrubs, and meadow.
Client returned for a second phase of design services involving additional stonework, fire pit, and plantings for a hillside waterfall and "plunge pool" area. A unique stone arch with gate was incorporated into the plan to define access to the rear yard.
