HLA conducted an assessment of the current site conditions and prepared a Landscape Master Plan for the Emerson headquarters, the first within the 1st Ward Business Park. Sustainable design alternatives were explored with consideration of visual aesthetic character, architectural fit, public safety, vehicular and pedestrian access, and perimeter control. Fencing and Business Park entry signs were explored. Entry Court and employee recreation/break areas planned. Planting schemes around building perimeter and site proposed to maximize energy efficiency, human comfort and site aesthetics. HLA identified options for site amenities including break shelter, site furnishings, and lighting. Sustainable solutions for meadows and stormwater management incorporated into site improvements. Additional services were provided to include an estimate of probable costs for the proposed improvements, and Construction Drawings for site improvements. |
